Lunchmeat Festival is a cutting edge music and visual art festival with creative interventions in urban space.

The 5th anniversary of the Lunchmeat Festival and its unique projections, installations and performances took place in the National Gallery in Prague. The producer invited Shizuka Hariu to present  a much larger venue than the previous ones in order to celebrate its anniversary.

A group of artists with expert technical and creative skills were gathered in the same place to create a special experience for the spectators. From conception to realisation, it all took place within a 7 day period. The 3D mapping artist, desaxismundi, used 3D mapping software VVVV to visually respond to the material, shape and idea of scenography in collabration with lighting designers Dmitri Berzon and Petr Pufler and DJ Tim Exile. The scenography was carefully designed to fully interact the viusal innovation without overshadowing it.

In order to make a light yet large scale scenography, translucent textile and wire net were used. Different volumes were formed across the stage in various heights and sizes, those volumes also acted as screens for the projections.

Polygone shaped textile on the wire net created interesting shadows. The entire atmosphere of the scenography provided a neutal but yet unique setting for the performance.
