ARCHITECTURE + SCENOGRAPHY
This summer house is found at the edge of a Normandy commune. Surrounding this flat piece of land the landscape is infinite. The silence is absolute.
A horizontal and green canopy links several pavilions which are sometimes attached, sometimes separated. Each volume is directed towards a piece of landscape, and sometimes exceeds the canopy to provide rooms in height. Brick, wood and plant unifies the sequences through the pavilions.
The project provides two independent pavilions in the second phase to accommodate a living room and additional bedrooms.
The low energy building is made of local and environmentally friendly materials.
